I saw Cory yesterday going through the Spaghetti Bowl yesterday after work. I laid on my horn (and yes it was working fine) but you probably had your music up.

I just went from 1st person to 2nd. Awesome.

What's "2nd person" anyway? I know there's supposed to be a way to write that way, but for the life of me I can't think of an example.

I think it would be something along the lines of "Cory saw me yesterday as he was rounding the spaghetti bowl thinking - "who is this dumba$$ riding my bumper honking my (referring back to first person) horn"".

First person is "I did this to that"
Third person is "That guy did this to that"
Second person is "You did this to that"

Second person doesn't work to well in narrative, except in Choose Your Own Adventure books.

moose 2008-07-10 08:04 PM

No, "You saw me at the spaghetti bowl." is second person.

Edit: Just saw Nicks post.

MPREZIV 2008-07-11 06:41 AM

wow that got complicated didn't it?

No I didn't see you John, and yes, I had the stereo CRANKED. I'm usually a bit busy trying to not get killed when I'm driving through there anyway, what with all the idiots...

JonnydaJibba 2008-07-11 07:15 AM

How bout the other day when there was an accident in front of the GSR that had been moved 40 FEET OFF THE FREAKIN HIGHWAY and people were still slowing down and gawking?! I can understand on the shoulder, but this was between the highway and an off ramp. HATE.

Just got back from the 7-11 on Virginia and I80. There was a blue 06-07 wrx, black sti, and a maroon bugeye. I think they were all cali plates. There were a couple of evos and other assorted cars too.

Dewey 2008-07-13 04:51 PM

i saw about everyone yesterday... does that count?

JonnydaJibba 2008-08-11 07:51 AM

I saw a new Challenger yesterday. That was a hoot. The driver told me to tell Bobby to fuck off.

BOO 2008-09-05 08:06 AM

A week(almost) late but saw a Nissan GT-R getting off the freeway 80w(Virginia street) on the 30th.

Dewey 2008-09-05 08:39 AM

No, actually it was the Silver/gray GT-R. Why? did you see a black one that same day?

100_Percent_Juice 2008-09-05 10:39 AM

I have seen that one around.

Bob Danger 2008-09-05 11:21 AM

I assisted in aligning a black GT-R today. The diffusers make it a bitch, 4 hours is what an alignment on a GT-R pays.

MPREZIV 2008-09-06 02:32 PM

Eric Gangloff?

Tahoe C5 2008-09-07 07:20 AM

I saw Eric a week ago and he said he may bring his GTR out to RFR for the trials. That would be fun to watch!

MattR 2008-09-07 09:48 AM

Yep, Eric was there.
