Yep.. and EVO's ROCK! They have a bunch of lag compared to an STi (actually the power of a stock EVO feels surprisingly identicle to my modded WRX), but the steering, driver ergonomics, and suspension are all much better IMO.

MattR 2004-08-24 06:56 AM

Man! I saw the EVO and the WRX last night! WOW  Mike's EVo looks great on coils, and the exhaust is definately noticeable, very cool. I really like Ryan's brakes a lot, the stop techs are just friggin awesome..

I saw the black WRX with exhaust, gauges and breaks. I believe he saw me too. I used to have a green eclipse with a front mount. Did you seen my green eclipse?

Evo Mike 2004-08-25 08:01 AM

haha yeah, we've seen your green eclipse.. that was one hell of a FMIC you had on there. It was great. :D

Pssshhh... Real cars have the IC up on top where it can heat-soak real bad and needs a big aero-ruining hoodscoop to feed it.

Nothing on an actual racecar is rice, since it's all there for functional reasons. Rice is defined by form without function.

Sarcasm, I'd like you to meet Austin. "Hi, how's it going?"

Austin, this is sarcasm. "Nice to meet you!"

AtomicLabMonkey 2004-08-25 01:07 PM

How about the out board exhaust that is facing up wind? is this to add back pressure? or is that where the intake is?

I'd guess the top intake is for the motor, and the bottom one's for the rear brakes.

MikeSTI 2004-08-25 02:44 PM

that was my first thought but didnt make the funny :P
