How do you get problems with a stock swap? It's using a WRX ecu right?

His transmission is fucked and he is having some other little problems like no a/c. It's a fine deal you just have to deal with it's issues. He only wants like $8,500 for it.

Again, budget limits. AWD Subarus under 90k or so will be more than $6k usually. A '98 RS with 100k is worth $6-7k still. I guess I'm still shopping for myself- I am not concerned with milage on the car I end up getting, since it's getting my RS motor next year anyway.

OK, OK, twist my arm....1998, 88k, original owner, clean title, $5300. Actually, just a bit on the low side of reasonable. The idea, of course, is not to get lemonized.

And it's obviously VERY clean. So far, 4,000mi with zero issues. I'll probably never find a nice one again, now that I've spilled it.... :roll:
