Oh god. I love people in chain control.

That was pretty funny to see. I felt bad for him though because he just spent all that time doing the wrong wheels
another case of common info being lost on some..maybe they think it's a Probe..perhaps the place of purchase convinced them it was FWD..in any case funny shit..I would have waited to watch them get going and see how they faired.......
A FORD MUSTANG .. to boot.. lol
Wow,
Whats that saying? "Stupid people shouldn't breed." |
everything is wrong with that picture.
I just wish there had actually been some snow on the road, so that we could watch the hilarity ensue.
I'm digging the SVT Cobra rims on a 6cyl mustang in addition to the chain retardation.
I'm embarrased as a fellow Mustang owner.
yea it was pretty funny.

Ehhh? :P

You know, its not like the pavement is covered in snow. Thats the first clue as to, "I don't need chains."
Even my old 65 Mustang 289 wouldn't need chains in that condition. It was running 250 hp with a 3.8:1 rearend. My 72 Ford Gran Torino wouldn't even have a problem, and its the worst thing I can think of for driving in the snow. I could spin out just by iddling down the street in that car. Sometimes I hate the fact that I grew up in Tahoe and learned to drive in the snow in a 78 Ranchero 500. The first time I ever drove was in the snow. I get more scared in fog, then in snow. In the last 6 years, I had to chain up only one time. Not bad, eh. |
That was through chain controls. As in, you're not getting past chain controls unless you have chains on the driven wheels ;)
Well, at least they put the chains on correctly.
I thought I would bump this thread as a current Mustang owner. I also decided that it would be nice to look at a 'cold' picture while it is hot outside. LOL.
I know the guy who took that picture in Nova Scotia last year, swear to God, Sybir is a hack!

Nuh uh, my buddy took it 5 years ago in the Adirondacks. You're a dumbshit.   |
Haha...you're right, I was lying.
my mom just told me she did that. only it was FWD and they put it on the rear.

That is actually very common. I've seen that only about a dozen times. I have never seen a douche bag like the guy driving the Black Mustang though. |

What you're missing is that after I posted this picture (that Josh snapped with my camera a few years back) it spread around the internet something fierce, with all kinds of idiots trying to take ownership. When it popped up a year ago, it was some guy claiming his buddy took it in the Rockies, and he actually tried to defend himself, until we posted originals and, the best part, pictures from another angle that Matt snapped in Rich's car ;)
It's going to be similar to how everyone will know something aobut that white EVO on 20's in a few years, and it was some dude in the dirty south, becuase "my friend knew a dude who sold the wheels to him" and crap like that ;) |
Wait, JC is a dirty dude from teh south?

(But seriously, he went to school in Atlanta) |
My sister's boyfriend's cousin knows this guy who's going with a girl that saw Ferris [put chains on the front wheels of that Mustang] last night. I think it's really serious.
Bump for giggle sake
At least the chains would have helped him stop...haha pretty awesome though
