Rent. Which I used it for in February.

Pat R. 2005-03-24 10:16 PM

You can live under most bridges but the grip you get from Hoosiers is hard to come by.

Kevin M 2005-03-24 10:19 PM

Agreed, except I'm running Street Tire, so not really so good for me. If only it was the R3S04s. :(

Pat R. 2005-03-24 10:33 PM

It's when deals like this come up that should make you say 'I was planning on running street tire but...'

...but driving around on Hoosiers every day, while probably fun, isn't exactly fiscally prudent. I'monly going to have the one set of 17s for most of the year, and I don't want to dismount my snows from my 16s.

Kevin M 2005-03-24 10:49 PM

And check your PMS. :)

Hey Pat who's selling these I want a set for track days/ solo1!

Kevin M 2005-03-25 12:44 AM

You can use the A3 compound for Solo I probably, but you'll kill 'em off fast at a track day. Probably wouldn't even make it through the whole day. :( Sucks, if it was the R3 compound, I'd be grabbing a set to stash.

SlickNick112 2005-03-25 07:44 AM

this deal makes me wish that I hadn't already bought new tires for this season.

Come to the dark side, Debbie... Detroit cars will fit 275's no problem.

dknv 2005-04-13 05:16 PM

Haha, the first car I bought myself was a Mustang II/Cobra II -- don't know if it was made in Detroit though. Wish I still had that car.

R compounds in general are the dark side, are they not?

MattR 2005-04-13 06:17 PM

Damn I thought they would sell those for $35 a piece again.

Dean 2006-05-05 10:34 AM

Do not buy the Rs for Autocross! buy the As if you want them for autocross.
