May as well make it official...Is Tamarack gonna work? They have a good parking lot, sa good as any other I guess.

Another alternative is to meet behind the warehouses at Old virinia and Zolezzi/ Damonte. We could probably screw around in those lots without any hassels. :evil: :twisted:

We have agreed on the 21st around 11 though, correct? :?:

Tamarac sounds good, and the 21st of Dec around 11 am is good also. Now exactly where is tamarac again? i know the general area....but never been there exactly.

Easiest way is to take 395 south, exit Damonte ranch, go right towards Old 395, make a left and its on the right.

Okay, 11:00 am, December 21st at Tamarack.

Also, were is the best place in town to get your car detailed and maybe even buffed to get the scratches out. Since I bought the car, I have noticed swirl marks and Subaru has tried to get rid of them, but I still can kinda see them.

Just don't post 5 times, and that's what it'll stay! Wait... I got a better idea <open's admin panel>... you're now the doink.net bus driver! Feel free to let me know when you want to retire.

I'm in for 11am on the 21st! Hopefully the weather will be decent.

They're big lots, but with the holiday shopping, I don't think drift practice will go unnoticed, and I don't think we'll go un-arrested. :lol: There are some empty lots out behind South Meadows if people don't mind risking the trespassing charges. hehe

I don't car, but have no idea were big lots are, so its up to you guys.

Sorry guys, no meet for me. :( My days off are Wednesday and Thursday with the new job. Too bad, I wanted you all to see my HID auxilary lights there too. See you guys around.

Things are looking bleaker for a nice sunny day... 50% chance of snow and it's gonna be cold.

However, if it's not stormy, it'll be a great photo-op for pictures of nice AWD cars parked somewhere in the snow! Perhaps we can find an empty lot covered in snow and get some pictures on a pristine white backdrop with mountains and shit. Ya know, use the weather to our advantage... I need a new windows background! ;)

Sounds good. I'm still into a meet no matter what the weather is doing, but going for a drive? that depends on weather, but picture time sounds cool.

Awsome pics, yea that must have been the infinite....surprised to see it up here though....even though it would be a nice place to test the thing out.

Ran late & missed the meet!
 

I got a late start from the NW side of town, then forgot where Tamarack Jct was, went up Mt. Rose by accident and was delayed even more. So, I got to the meeting spot too late.

Oh well, since I missed meeting up with you all, I took the drive up to VC anyway, and it was great! Not much traffic and the road was a little dirty but not icy. So I had a fun outing anyway, but will look for meeting up with you all at the next meet.

I'm down in the Bay Area this week, so I'll be off the board more often than not. Today however rocked, since I dropped by Vishnu to pick up my EMI Adapter! I must say, those guys are pretty cool... Shiv's the man! And there was a guy there getting his Stage Sub Zero tuned on the dyno.

Aparently there's a "new" SubZero... it's all ECUTek, no more hardware, all software... from about 160hp at the wheels to 180hp at the wheels. Not bad for an all software system... looks totally stock, and no exhaust leaks!

Well, time to go see Two Towers!

Off Topic - I saw 2 350z's today in Reno...one near Reno High and one on the freeway. I am in love with that car. I think that would be my second choice after a wrx. They sound so nice and look so slick. Gatta say I am impressed.

That is a nice looking car but have you given the RX8 some thought ?
Thought I would run that by you :)

I have looked into the upcoming RX-8. That car also is pretty cool, but design wise, I don't find it as attractive as the 350Z. But overall, I still am glad I got a WRX, with the AWD. Its proven its worth multiple times already and I have only had it for about 2 1/2 months.

All I have to say living in Reno is: AMEN TO ALL-WHEEL-DRIVE :wink:
Ps: You guys are making me Jealous about Owning a Subary/WRX...
ONE DAY I'll feel what you all are feeling :lol:
