Son of a BITCH...

So I'm driving home yesterday, and I go to accelerate out of a stop light (not hard) and POP. My tranny now sounds like a box of rocks. :( Time to go walk 5 miles to school.

MattR 2006-03-08 05:49 AM

Sounds like you got a big box of Neutrals, that totally sucks.

JC 2006-03-08 05:52 AM

Oh the bitch is still driving, she's just not happy about it. It WILL get me to school and back until it is completely incapable of moving.

tysonK 2006-03-08 05:58 AM

oh, glass tranny look out old legacy owners you heard it here first.

sti deede 2006-03-08 07:15 AM

Sorry to hear that it broke.

JonnydaJibba 2006-03-08 08:09 AM

Haha, that would cost like two and a half times the value of the car.

Evo Mike 2006-03-08 12:26 PM

sorry to hear that JC.. at least it wont cost you 2600$ like my T-case =)

Haha true. Well technically bugeye owners are all tied, since bugeyes are worthless they've spent an infinite amount more times the cars value. ;)

cody 2006-03-09 08:17 AM

Who's car's worthless? ;)

I would be like some sorta super subaru hybrid! The "Legreza".. no The "Impregacy"!

Too bad it'd still be slow. :P

It would be an RS with an EJ22t and a 5spd. Sounds pretty good to me. ;)

JonnydaJibba 2006-03-09 12:07 PM

I don't like the sound of Impregacy.

khail19 2006-03-09 12:14 PM

I'd call it the Legabortion.

cody 2006-03-09 12:18 PM

Nice visual ^^

No, you're right. An RS w/ an EJ22T and say a GT30-10 turbo would be sick.

Just by coincidence, I've got a GT30-10 sitting in a box at my house!

I'm having a hard enough time convincing Gruppe-S to rebuild my stock motor, I think they will have a hissy if I do something crazy. :p

Ezdno 2006-03-09 11:14 PM

You should just break down and buy a bugeye...you know you wanna!

Naw, full rebuild w/ new TQ converter plus a rental car. Tranny shifts real nice now though, the car is a lot faster.

Full rebuild and no 5MT swap? You're fired.

I tried, but it was like a grand more at least.

Kevin M 2006-03-27 06:15 PM

If someone tore up the front end of their bugeye, would $1000 be an excuse for not getting a non-bugeye front end a la Gary Sheehan? ;)

It would be if it was their beater and they had better things to spend the money on like their condo. Also any bugeye that gets torn up should be sent to the junkyard not fixed.

Kevin M 2006-03-27 07:04 PM

Well, you have me there... all bugeyes are beaters!

I guess in any case you should be applauded for sinking that kind of dough back into a true Suby Classic.

It almost got sent to the junkyard. Stupid car, I still think I might end up selling it. There is a unicorn for sale here that I have my eye on.

Kevin M 2006-03-27 07:54 PM

Doo eet!

If that's the case, I want a beater like Scott's.

Kevin M 2006-03-27 11:27 PM

No, I want a race car like Scott's. I prefer my beaters to be worth about a month's pay, not half of a condo. ;)

M3n2c3 2006-03-28 12:59 AM

Ahahaha let me change my statement. . . I wish I had so much money that a car like Scott's was a mere beater to me. . . :P

JC 2006-03-29 09:48 AM

Aaaaaand it's back in the shop.

MPREZIV 2006-03-29 09:51 AM

dude! WTF!? Why's it back in now!?
