Creating a fake church that you are the minister of to get more money sounds like a pretty low move...
|
Didn't he just get married? If so, how could he and his wife have made $500K in 97-99... Sure we have the same guy?
|
It doesn't say they were married then, and how many conniving Paul Jensens can there be in Incline Village?
|
Plus Paul is a pilot.
|
What was he thinking. At church I started we follow all the tax laws.

My buddy is a rev at some internet church. but he just wanted to be able to say he's a Rev, also i think he can legally marry people. but he pays his taxes.
cheating at the autoX , cheating on his taxes. I bet that's a recurring theme for him. |
That is unbelievable. Wow, I wonder if it's the same Paul. Paul was a pilot too? I thought he sailed ships, but now that I think about it, I think I remember hearing about airplanes too.

Yeah, I guess I'm not too shocked, I'm just glad I didn;t talk religion with him
On a side note, does anyone want to join my church? |
Does your church allow polygamy too?

Well I wouldn't marry all of them, just keep a couple around for when I'm bored.

So, back on the tax evasion topic....If the paul in the example was having his wages diverted to a "church", isn't the employer liable for some wrongdoing too? If not, then it's no wonder this type of stuff is so common . |

So it was probably the filing for back taxes and saying he earned zero dollars that got him.
|
But if it was a donation to a church on the comapny books, then they wouldn't likely have paid the employee taxes, it would have been treated like a charitable donation the way I read it. Hmm, regardless, it's all shady shit. What a mess.

Its very simple to set up a church or any other non profit 501c3 company or corp. Just fill out the proper forms submit them to the IRS and State Taxation depts. Do some Articles of Incorp and wait....wala....few months, you have a TIN number (EIN) a non tax number to purchase stuff. And if you follow the guidelines in the IRS handbook based on income your good to go. This guy probably never filled out the forms! |

Oh snaps.
So, the IRS finally got him for cheating at auto-x. Karma is a bitch. |
