Fernley Raceway Drags - October 10th
 

The next drags will not be till Oct. 10th I was informed today. Something about repairs.

So this trip is off. But who ever is down for Oct. 10th!

Yea, but it is really run and thats as many runs as you want. I like that you can challange people...and eveyrone seemed really cool about it. There were people in old muscle cars challanging street bikes. We all know who won, but it was cool to see.

Art, answer my above question yo! lol, anyways, its on for Friday.. what time do they start? I have a surprise! :) :) :)

I won't be into my house till the 1st. So....let me ask ben if its cool if people crash at his pad. I think they start around 8 pm or so.

I think I might tag along and watch. In fact, can someone give me a ride out there? so I don;t get into trouble. :lol:

Actually, we meet right there at the Super-K by your house. Mike meets us out there at the Wendy's off the first exit to Fernely.

So for any on else interested:

Friday evening at 7 PM at Super K-Mart we will be meeting then going to the Reno-Fernley Race way. Races go till 12, but we don't have to stay that long if no one wants to. I will have my video camera this time.

It depends on my weekend plans, I may be heading to Sac Friday night... but if not, I'll prolly make it out there. Not sure if I'll run tho, my car's making wierd noises in the front suspension or diff.... I need to get under there and see what's up.

My SRT-4 is doing well out at Fernley, and I am learning new stuff everytime out.

I'll prolly see you guys before the 10th, but it would be great to have bunches of "us" show up.

October 10th is the day.

Hehehehe, I want a piece of the SRT4 Nate!! I will clear my calendar and pray my finances are in order and will come out on the 10th :) I just want a chance to race an SRT-4.. win or lose :)

UPDATE -

The Dragstrip will still be 1/8 mile and no time slips. I will still be going out to just have some fun. It is a challenge type system, where you challenge who you run. It is actually very fun out there. Only 2$ to watch.

So who is all gonna go to this? I know a few of the people coming from Kali are going to go out there with us, and Justin. Who else? Only 2.00$ to watch and I have to say it is entertaining.

I've got a bunch of ppl coming in from out of town, and I'm not sure when they'll get here, or if they'll want to go... but if the timing works out, I'll try to make it!

It looks like ill only be able to go if I get a check today or tomorrow, im waiting on almost 12k worth of checks, but damn are they slow to get here.

We are meeting at the Super K-Mart by Matt's house NW area of town at 7:30 pm. The California guys can just roll up there with me or Ben. We will then roll out to the Drags.

Excellent night with some excellent races. Ben, Justin, and I raced along with another 2.5RS and a WRX. Over 200 people with tons of nice cars.

Best race of the night:

Last night was bad freakin ass!! After I got the hang of launching on the uphill, I started putting the smack down on some of the faster cars. You guys should have stuck around, I finally killed that 2.5RS that i had been screwing up against all night, which made me hella happy and I took a modded VR6 GTI when i was running 3-up with my bro and wife. I cant wait to do it again, and i WILL take that Grand Prix GTP (that thing was fucking fast) next time around with some mods.

Justin lives in Kali. He probably won't be up there tonight.
