My New TOY.
5 Attachment(s)
I picked up my new FJ on July 29, my birthday present to myself. Anyway, I love this thing, I put my new rims and tires on it last night. 17 x 9 (-6) Pro Comp 7015 Wheels with Nitto terra Grappler Tires in a 285-70-17 (33x 12.5). My 2" lift is on the way, I hope to install that on Sunday. Anyway, check it out.

Exactly! My stupid ass painted my old Jeep dark green... it looked GREAT for about two days...
|
Yeah I had a black jeep, that sucked, that paint was hammered. Then I got a white Jeep and that was much better.
|
How much was your toy?
|
"More than you can afford buddy....Toyota"
|
Very nice :D
|
This makes the baby jeepus cry. :(

Nice... Did you get the optional physics exemption?
Now you can be one of the A-Holes all us Subaru drivers cuss at and then laugh at in the snow as you go blowing by us and end up in a snow bank. |

That was quick. GJ Nick.

I'll be just fine fuckers...And yes Nick, I think I'll take my chances in the FJ in the snow, I have had so-so luck with the Subaru in the snow, mostly due to my own jack-assery

And it came back with way too many hits to search through :p  |
Well done.
|
I have a physics exemption button on the transmition of my Toyota.
|
Those have some great undercarriage geometry for off-road. The interior is a little too upper-crust. Nice addition to the stable.

Gotta say Matt.........The only other color that FJ looks good in is all black. Nice addition. You ought to check out some high clearance bumpers from Road Armor. They look pretty nice.
|
I just glanced at this thread right before I left for work, but somehow I knew those circular lights on the mirrors made it you. It looks 100x better in person. It looks way meaner on the road.

haha. Yeah, I saw you pull out of that driveway and decided to run up on ya. Right before I caught you, I almost ran down some crack-head pedestrian that was crossing the street in the dark and not paying attention. I would have been pissed if I had to scrape brain and guts off the front of my FJ. haha. Pete, your car looks strangly familiar with those wheels:cool: |
Those wheels have bead lockers on 'em, or just look like they've got bead lockers on 'em?
|
Just the look, not real beadlocks.
|
Looks good.
Is the FJ the seccs approved SUV like the Titan is the seccs approved truck? |

(Truck looks hot though...) |

Street Queen thank you.
|
How's the towing capacity compared to the Titan?
Are you still going to be able to pass Scott at 90mph, hauling the STI, while going up hill? |
It can't tow shit. It doesn't even have a hitch yet. I have one on order though.

So the Titan is gone? I have always liked those cruisers. Nice choice and happy birthday.
|
Sweet man! What's the mod plans? Just lift and rims or you going to do some serious mods?
|
Impresive(mpreziv)no pun intended  you went from Wild to mild in the HP/Size category.
