New car!..

The wife has given the O.K. on the next purchase. To make this fun, I'll give you all a couple chances to guess. No hits, you all are better than that. The winner gets a six pack (beer if over 21 or soda of your choice if under). Have fun ladies. I think somebody will get it within 10 posts.

Negative on both. Sorry, no beer for you on this one. Thanks for not threatening gunfire.

Ok, we have to have some kind of guiding category to play a guessing game. There are way too many cars out there to guess at random.

yes

Dean 2007-09-11 07:21 AM

It's a Kart for his kart.

And we don't need "Hits", what about hints?

It's some sort of Kart hauler, so who really cares? :)

Probably a pickup truck or worse, a SUV.

Maybe some retired black and white that reeks of aged donut crumbs and spilled coffee. :)

NevadaSTi 2007-09-11 07:45 AM

Something with 4 wheels, and a motor.

That would be nice but maybe a cheaper model.

*Note* Jesubi11's first guess was closer before he edited.

Nick Koan 2007-09-11 09:56 AM

Something ending in XT or GT.

But my left knee gets tired in chain control if I have to push the clutch to many times. It will have dual exhaust.

XT and GTs all have automatic options. :p

But, I'm guessing then a base Forester or Outback.

No Outback version of the car in 08. So I had to go with a base model_________.

Nick Koan 2007-09-11 10:51 AM

Legacy 2.5i Wagon.

Your six pack is close but not in your hands just yet.

WRX06TR 2007-09-11 11:00 AM

Legacy 2.5i SE?

You pick the six pack and I'll deliver.:D

Kevin M 2007-09-11 12:05 PM

Beer sniped.

NevadaSTi 2007-09-11 12:08 PM

Poor Nick, no beer for him!!! Only soda!

Kind of a not so good review on the things.

http://www.thetruthaboutcars.com/?p=4726

I did see a 3.0 R at CostCo last weekend that looked pretty nice!

cody 2007-09-11 12:16 PM

Congrats.

Dean 2007-09-11 01:11 PM

So why again did we sell the WRX to get another similarly valued Subaru with less power?

So, is it a sedan or a wagon?

JonnydaJibba 2007-09-11 01:49 PM

Like Nick said, they have auto Leggy GTs.

cody 2007-09-11 01:49 PM

Yes, I'm sure cost isn't a concern for our new Kart addict. :P

Dean 2007-09-11 01:57 PM

They also make Auto WRXs IIRC.

Ah, the joys of being underage...oh well.

Yea we have had a 3.0R sitting at Costco for a week or two now. I really like the way it looks, save the front grill, lose the chrome and we'll talk. I like the wheels, they look like the 06 WRX wheels but with extrusions on the spokes.

It will be a blue sedan if the sale of the wagon goes through.
I'll buy you a pint for all the hard work.

The wagon is still in my garage. The wife only O.K.ed the purchase. The wagon must go before the Legacy can happen.

Joeyy 2007-09-14 03:29 PM

Anybody know if the black Lightstars will fit on the 08 Legacy if the sale of the wagon goes through? Nick, do you think the 235's will fit without rolling? Thanks.

*another post without the K word by Joey.

Nick Koan 2007-09-14 03:31 PM

Yeah, 08 is still the Subaru standard 5x100. 235s should fit no problem.

Man, the 08s look so nice. I kinda want one too.
