That's a pimp-ass seat. For the price new, I'd rather have a Race Tech, but you can't beat Prodrive for plain badassery in a Subaru.

gg newb 2007-10-31 07:24 PM

how much for the hood and will it fit an 07 sti

MPREZIV 2007-10-31 07:35 PM

you NEED that seat Pete. NEED! Shit, if I didn't have the Cobra, I'd buy that sucker right now!

dayofpain 2007-10-31 07:35 PM

also "for the price new" being the key words.

im not charging new price. also for locals obviously there will be no shipping. AND it will include the base, slider, hardware and side mounts.

To Hell with that seat!

BRIDE.

gg newb 2007-10-31 07:54 PM

how much for the seat

dayofpain 2007-10-31 09:20 PM

asking 700 plus shipping. since you guys would be local i would take like 680 cause i wouldnt have to deal with everything.

it balances out like this

new the seat would cost.

135 base
699 seat
69 side mounts
69 slider
12 hardware

total new = 984 PLUS shipping from the closest dealer which would be RSD for us which would mean 80 bucks shipping.

That's the problem W1 quoted me 750 shipped with all the hardware/sliders/brackets for a Bride Zeta III.

dayofpain 2007-10-31 10:47 PM

zeta III best price online 680 no hardware or shipping. most places sell for 850.

hardware. is around 200 bucks and shipping for ANY seat is rediculous.

considering that if they said everything for 750 theyd be losing around 180-200 bucks COST. thats a fairly good price.

Most place list MSRP as their online prices. PMing various vendors on IWSTI gets you some decent prices. A few would do 600 for the seat. W1 offered to beat everyone elses prices and they always do free shipping.

Haha. You can say told you so now. I called W1 to order the seat this afternoon and they told me I was misquoted. Bummer.

Dean 2007-11-01 03:17 PM

Seņor Cheap Bastard says all haggling is good as long as the two parties don't take it personally. If you can't agree on a price, so be it, no sale. Doesn't mean anyone is a shitbag or anyone should be pissed or unhappy.

dayofpain 2007-11-01 03:57 PM

no, its coo, im a shitbag

and who do i have to blow to get my title changed to 22b?

Of course, if you've got a custom title, you won't see one of these titles next to your name... but for the rest of you, here's what they mean!

The new titles are based on the EJ line-up of Subaru engines:

25+ posts: EJ18 - the 1.8L N/A motor from the older Impreza L
100+ posts: EJ22 - the 2.2L N/A motor from older Legacy's
500+ posts: EJ251 - the 2.5L N/A motor from the 2.5RS Impreza, and others
1000+ posts: EJ205 - the USDM 2.0L WRX motor
2500+ posts: EJ207 - the JDM 2.0L WRX motor
5000+ posts: EJ20G - the JDM 2.0L STI motor
7500+ posts: EJ22T - the 2.2L Turbo Legacy motor (not fast out of the box, but one of Subaru's all time most capable motors)
10000+ posts: EJ257 - the newer 2.5L USDM STI motor
15000+ posts: EJ22G - the 2.2L 22b motor

And no offense to the EZ/EG fellas... but I didn't know how to fit those flat 6 motors into the scale, so it's only EJ series motors this time around!

Also, if anyone has some good ideas for new titles, post 'em up in here and I'll switch to them once we get tired of these.

Not to highjack but that looks like it's just a stock EVO seat with an extra leg bolster.

And we all know the Evo seats suck, so good looking out! He almost bought terrible seats!

dayofpain 2007-11-03 01:02 PM

im hoping youre being sarcastic. im buying those seats. they are considerably more narrow than the evo seats. much like every prodrive labeled seat.

He's being sarcastic... the stock EVO Recaros are some of the most comfortable & supportive seats on the planet.

dayofpain 2007-11-04 03:09 PM

buy my ISH dammits!

wrxkidid 2007-11-05 10:33 AM
