Free to good home: 1992 Sentra SE-R, complete and running...technically

You know you want a project car.

1992 Red Sentra SE-R (B13)
Runs technically, on 3 cylinders. #4 is a gonner, same story with 5th gear. I have driven it recently, all I have to do is pop a battery in it, as it has some charging problem or is a victim of sitting. I drove it from Genoa to Truckee, over Spooner less than a year ago, then drove it to my new place when I moved. Fired right up after sitting through a winter.

Its been in the family for about 12 years, had a front fender-bender resulting in some bodywork. It was a good job, it has weathered since. It had a JDM SR20DE put in there, but needs another. Otherwise complete.

Needs a weld job on the lower drivers door hinge, or just weld it shut and go 24hrs of Lemons with it.

Has newish 195 60 15 runway tires on it.

Aint she a beauty?

Or perhaps his message had an implied "back", as in, "I already sent you a message, PM me back please"?

GusGus91 2010-10-06 01:13 PM

^ Valid point.

left footed whooten 2010-10-06 02:17 PM

Dibs!?

I thought in situations like this, money (er... Coors) talks. Give it to whomever shows up with a trailer and some frosty banquet beer first!

Besides, Bob needs this car... more accurately, Cory needs Bob to have this car, so Bob has something of his own to autocross next season! ;)

I have a car lined up for next year, but I won't be able to get to it until spring. I was just looking for something during the winter. Since my jeep needs head gaskets and a tranny, I don't trust it to make to the market let alone to work and back. So I've sold the Corolla and have someone interesting in buy the jeep, which leaves me with a 28 year old motorcycle.

It being a Sentra and my being a Nissan tech it would be a simple fix, which made it perfect. But I was too slow, let me know if wagon guy backs out. I'll even pay you with good beer.

03wrxwagon 2010-10-06 03:46 PM

hey bob if i dont take it its yours...ive got a new motor lined up ready to go already too

Bob Danger 2010-10-06 09:27 PM

Newcastle is as cheap as I'll go on my beer, and I have been known to spend a weekend traveling around town buying all the Guinness 250 I can find.

03wrxwagon 2010-10-06 11:03 PM

nasty Guinness

GusGus91 2010-10-06 11:30 PM

Bob I approve you're two named beers.

Albert Guinness is good...

What is good beer to you albert? Please don't say Corona.. haha

I'm not a part of this conversation, but I must say that your beer drinking credibility has just fallen to nil...

GusGus91 2010-10-07 02:39 PM

I'm pretty sure he was gonna say Corona. Because he stopped talking about it after i said "DONT YOU DARE SAY CORONA!". lol

"You can have any beer you want, as long as it's a Corona."

Actually, Coronas aren't all that bad.
