Sid did a good job on my alignment.

dayofpain 2005-06-01 10:58 PM

ok then, im his bitch then, do i gots to make an apt?

Dean 2005-06-02 07:45 AM

Doesn't hurt, and it will be cheaper if you say you know Debbie rather than me. :(

Oh, and unless you want a track/autocross alignment, tell him it is for the street, not Autocross, or track. He is used to doing our autocross alignments which are not the best for the street.

this is not meant to offend, im venting. so i went called sid this morning cause he's been less than reliable so far. i was hoping to get in. he said it takes an hour and to get there at 2 so we can do it on my lunch. so i show up @ 2. he ignores me for 30 minutes. 230 he says hes four cars back. cant do it today. so i says, ok when then? he says, oh well youd have to leave it a full day even if you get here @ 730am. thats like me telling a customer a deck takes all day.

weak, hella weak.

I know what you are talking about. I probably should have mentioned I always plan for a full day without the car when it is at Sid's. His is mostly a first come/first served operation, and load varies greatly from day to day...

Appointments are not worth the paper they are not written on for themost part.

For alignments, I think he is still the best of the worst that are alignment shops. He will actually do what you want, not just "put it in the green" like most shops. C&C is another option, but last I checked, they were more expensive, and were booked out a week.

BIg O was OK, but we have had a bad experience lately as i recall with Eric's.

Make sure you get a before and after printout if you can.... Dealerships are typically a "in the green" type place.

dayofpain 2005-07-11 05:10 PM

yep sadly i know that all too well, but they know me and that i settle for nothing other than perfect

You all can come here by Nissan. Ask for Subaru Cory (there's two Cory's) and I'll hook you up. I can do fatory alignments, I can do performance adjustments, and I can do racing/autocross setups. AND, you get a before and after printout when I'm done! If you want a racing setup, It'll help if you know a thing or two about what kind of angles you want dialed into the car, so I don't have to speculate. I'm glad to help out on pricing too!

MPREZIV 2005-07-14 06:56 AM

Oh yeah, one let down is the time factor tho. With the dealership volume of work, I can't guarantee in and out in an hour. And, sometimes you may have to leave the car with me if we're really busy, but if you can deal with that, I'm still glad to help!
