The Countdown Begins!

Thursday June 24th 10pm Comedy Central. New Futurama.

Which puts it up against Archer. I really like Archer, but I'll be watching Futurama.

sybir 2010-03-05 12:21 PM

Hell yes. Can't wait.

sperry 2010-03-05 12:25 PM

I think if the episodes suck, I will kill myself.

You guys are skirting Trekkie behavior territory........

Is it better or worse if I'm considering hosting a viewing party?

I think wearing a Star Trek uniform would be okay at either.

I'm going as Captain Janeway.

Bob Danger 2010-03-05 02:23 PM

I was afraid I typed that out loud.

sybir 2010-03-05 03:28 PM

No, you weren't.

tysonK 2010-03-06 11:13 AM

"great news everybody!"

cody 2010-03-06 03:23 PM

I love Archer.

bluestreak 2010-03-09 01:20 PM

I like Archer too - thats why they invented TiVo..... don't choose, watch both.

lol, I dressed up as Fry for Halloween two years ago..... I might have to track down some orange hair dye/spray and do it again.....

I'm sure it wasn't this epic:

If you go dressed like that (bender) you definiately have trekkie issues !

if you go as the chick you have other issues :P

I'm sure Cory and Emily will love to hear your breakdown of their issues.

Yeah, I fail to see where Bender has anything at all to do with Star Trek, but it could just be me...

A1337STI 2010-03-09 03:13 PM

I'll explain the joke to you in a minute so you can enjoy all of its humor ....

sybir 2010-03-09 03:15 PM

I fail to see where any red-blooded male would have an issue with Emily, either.

Even a gay guy is going to recognize "awesome", though.

This is tempting.

Amazon's deal of the day is Futurama: The Complete Collection. All seasons, and all 4 movies on DVD in a replica head of Bender. I have the 4 movies, but I never bought the series DVDs.

Wow awesome. Surprised so many other Futurama fans besides OP. I own the first 4 or 5 seasons on DVD and always loved the show. Unlike Family guy which is hilarious and random without a plot, Futurama actually has character story and development so I always liked it more. Thanks for the heads up I assumed Futurama was done for good.

MPREZIV 2010-03-11 03:04 PM

Thanks a lot Nick... you just made me spend $85!
