GO VOTE!

If you are registered, I encourage you to vote today if you have not already done so.

Be part of probably one of the most historic votes of your lifetime.

I don't care who or what you vote for, just VOTE!

If you voted, post here!

I VOTED!

Nick Koan 2008-11-04 10:29 AM

Pshaw, I started a whole thread when I voted.

But for the rest of you... go vote!

JonnydaJibba 2008-11-04 10:53 AM

I voted!

Did anybody watch the 11 o'clock news last night? My roommate and I started off watching channel 2. During commercial breaks, they didn't play commercials, they played campaign spots. Every single break was back to back "Vote for Obama" "Vote for Derby" "Vote for Mccain" "Vote for Heller" "Vote for Pickering" "Vote for Adams." So then we switched to channel 4 and watched that for a few minutes. They were doing the same thing! After that, we switched to channel 8. Would you be surprised if I told you that they were also playing back to back campaign ads during breaks? My roommate and I were laughing so hard, we just couldn't believe how ridiculous it was! I think we saw one actual commercial during all of that.

It has been painful...

I dislike the last minute PAC attack ads most.

I can believe I am saying this, but can hardly wait for the return of the bladder control, erectile disfunction and dietary supplement ads. Not an issue now, but I may need that information sooner than most of you. :P

sti deede 2008-11-04 11:12 AM

I voted.

California's presidential race is definitely going to the Democrat. That said I made the right decision and voted Bob Barr!!! Libertarians rock! Now if you'll excuse me I'm going to do some coke off the back of a dead hooker and fire off my Springfield.

Just call, I can bring you up to speed! :-)

I say if another person needs to motivate you to go vote... stay home.

That said, I voted sunday before last. So I am way sicker of the political ads than Dean is!

Joeyy 2008-11-04 03:00 PM

NevadaSTi 2008-11-04 03:55 PM

Dean 2008-11-04 08:22 PM

I wish they would get some state data up... Still nothing an hour after the polls closed.

van 2008-11-04 08:47 PM

nevada went blue

sti deede 2008-11-05 12:28 AM

I have to say I'm glad Obama beat out McCain. Palin in office would have been an disaster. This played like I planned. I voted my party because I believe in the Libertarian way and I felt it a safe bet that Obama would beat McCain.

In the end we have our first black president and a sure bet that taxes are going up. That said, I look forward to seeing him in office. I'm hoping that he proves to be the leader of change and turns hope into reality. His victory speech was excellent tonight.

I want to see the numbers of the people who voted compared to that of previous years. It would seems that for better or worse this election brought people out of the woodwork to cast their ballot.

100_Percent_Juice 2008-11-05 12:43 AM

A clip to commemorate the last 8 years.

Congratulations to all voters, especially you first timers...

The numbers are not all in, but it appears this will be the highest turnout in between 40 or 100 years... About 64% of eligible or over 130 million voters!!

And Kevin, I voted weeks ago as well, so the ads were quite annoying, and the phone calls sucked as well. Another reason not to have a land line.

I personally, was simply ready to kill and eat the next Obama backers that came knocking on my door at 8am on a Sunday, because Crista had registered on his website... Apparently the door mat that says "LEAVE" isn't enough.

Dude, don't hate on your dads supporters like that.

MPREZIV 2008-11-05 08:03 AM

tysonK 2008-11-05 10:10 AM

So if you vote early and the canidate changes his mind on a key issue you care about in the very late stages, or something else terrible happens, you are stuck?

I'll only 50% agree with early voting.
