WTB: Rear Endlinks

Need a set of aftermarket rear endlinks that will fit an '03 WRX sedan. Let me know what ya have...

bigrobwoot 2011-03-08 03:29 PM

Did those helix ones finally give out? what happened?

bluestreak 2011-03-08 03:52 PM

The spherical bearings are shot - they clunk bad and have lots of play, but they did last almost 7 years....

The rear bar and endlinks are the same on both sedan and wagon. You should be able to find a set for around $100, new.

For serious.....

How can Perrin possibly be selling these for $300 a set... absurd

High end stuff is expensive (but unnecessary in this application). Kartboy is who I'd check out first if I couldn't find any group buys or whatever.

I'm not sure I'd pay $300 for Perrin links at all 4 corners. And it's not like I don't spring for the good stuff when it's appropriate.

bluestreak 2011-03-11 08:34 AM

Yeah, I'm probably going to go with some cheaper Whitelines or Kartboys with urethane bushings

knucklesplitter 2011-03-11 09:35 AM

I have Kartboys in stock. $125 for the rears.

^ Sweet.

Matt, do you have a lot of parts like that in stock? If so, that's awesome.

No. Hardly anybody buys parts locally anymore. You can often find something on ebay or Amazon for less than we get it from our distributors. Add tax to that and there is no way to compete in the performance parts business. So the few brands we can make money on, and the other occasional parts we sell, just have to be ordered in.

These end links I have had for over a year I think, for another project I was working on.

Very understandable.
