Shipping a hood?
So, I found a guy who is willing to trade my coupe spoiler for his silver L hood, so that I could keep the RS hood for future use. Problem is, he lives in MA. Anybody have any tips on shipping it here? I have heard a couple of you guys mention using Greyhound for shipping, how does that work? What are the hoods that the hood will get here more or less in one piece? Do they offer insurance? I know sending it UPs or FedEx is prohibitively expensive because hoods are oversized, so what other options are there?

You know that saying about race cars? "Fast, Reliable, Cheap: Pick two" ??
The same applies to shipping, except you can only pick one. |
It's gotta be cheap, reliable would be nice, fast is not important.

I've head horror stories about greyhound, I'd stay away from that method.

If you ship cheapskate, the item will more than likely get to the destination FUBAR. And good luck dealing with an insurance claim, it will take forever and you're not guaranteed to get any money back.

its not worth the hassle

What? Insurance fraud or shipping? I kid |
I try to sell my Eagle Talon hood twice but shipping is cost more than the hood itself. S end up sell to the local guy for $30.

Lots of people have suggested I go to Greyhound to ship large items as well. What's wrong with them?
