Whoa! Alot of people were waiting for this.
So, both the S2000 AND the Boxter are recommended to move. If approved, that is a huge opening in B-stock.

Seems like the same thing with the Miata's in C-stock.

Yay! on STi's staying in ESP. Although, at Nats, the STi's were not competitive in open class.

I sent it to our Yahoo group as well...

Pat R. 2004-10-09 08:18 PM

Since I'm not planning on going to Nationals it really makes no difference to me other than having to make new magnets.

I can still pound on a certian white Boxster and listen to it's owner complain about "fucking S2000s"

dknv 2004-10-09 08:20 PM

Oh, man ...
Now watch: B-stock's pax will get softer in 2005, and I will end up NOT having a B stock car :x

Actually, I think I will continue to run street tire...I love the competition that street tire class promotes...plus, You guys would probably make fun of me for beating on Mustangs every weekend.

I agree, I think street tire is the place to be, since it means all of us wil be able to run against each other from various levels of prep with various cars. I'm about 99% sure I'm running NSM next season... now if I can just afford a block, turbo, fuel, intercooler, and transmission before April.

Maybe you should just look for a totalled STi to part out? Keep the drivetrain, sell the brakes, seats, HIDs, etc. and your WRX engine, put the 5 speed in the SVX, and have AVCS to go with the bigger turbo? Big cash outlay, but you'd get 50-70% of it back parting out the car and your motor. Just a thought.

That's actually a reall good idea, but I need the cash, plus room to put a totaled STi... which bascially means I need my own house 1st. ...Buying a house before those big mods is the smarter idea anyway....

sybir 2004-10-10 07:28 PM

Scott, if you do that, I still need a full chassis harness, and I'd buy your EJ20.....

(hmm, drive-by-wire EJ20.....) :D
