WTB: 2005 STi Engine
 

Looking for a whole engine to replace my old one which kicked the bucket and unfortunately the warranty was long expired... =/

Something with some mods already done would be cool, but any engine will do.

You want a short block, long block or complete with intake, exhaust, accessories, etc.?

OEM short blocks start around $1800 shipped all the way to complete used engines can be had for $3000+ shipping.

Or you can spend way $15,000 for a Cosworth long block. ;)

Complete engine, just so I can drive right now. I'm going to rebuild the old engine myself as much as I can.

Complete is going to be a wrecker in Rancho Cordova or elsewhere or maybe eBay Motors.

Doubt anyone local is going to have a built up ready to run complete motor except a wrecker or someone parting a salvage.

I bought a complete '07 engine with all accessories, Turbo, intercooler, intake, headers/uppipe, etc... for $3500 shipped with under 10k miles from a Texas wrecker.

If you go to ebay stay away from Millenium Auto. The guy is a total douche. I have the same name on NASIOC and did a full writeup on the BS I went through with them as they are on NASIOC too. After reading Dean's post it sounds like he ripped me off pretty good too.

There's an STi longblock on eBay for $820 with like 18 min left. Can't link it from my phone :(
