Sorry man, my trailer needs tires, and some other work on it before it could be used for that distance, and is currently the storage for my 66 Mercury.

Also since my truck is only an F150, and I wouldn't want anybody but myself driving it with that kind of weight behind it.

No sweat....

hey, uh, how about some more info on the '66 Merc! It's not turbo or AWD is it?

It is more of a Yacht than a car. It isn't operational at the moment do to a fire in the engine compartment caused by my step uncle. I need to find a mechanic that wants to do some work on the side for me... It would be a cool Hot August nights car.

I recommend Jim at Satisfaction Automotive. His is owner and only operator in his shop. The most honest man I have met. He hooked me up on so many things on my car and ended up saving me 200$ that lithia would have charged me for something that wasn't broken, just need to have a screw tightened.

Any Idea what his labor rates are? On a car of this age, it is mostly wrench turning and replacing some 10-12 guage wires that needs to be done to get it back up and running. I just don't have the time, or the will to do it. I'd like to find a mechanic that wants to put some money straight into his pocket on the weekends or something.

I just talked with him.

He said he needs to know what needs to be done and the time you want it done in. I told him that you could give him a call and discuss this stuff with him.
