you know what I love?

Every Thursday night when I say to myself "Geez, the SECCS message board is slow tonight. I wonder what's going on?" and it takes me a few minutes to realize how dumb I am.

We have meets......DUH

MattR 2004-04-22 10:23 PM

That was a big meet tonight, I love to see 15 cars lined up when I arrive, bummer I got there so late.

LetItRev 2004-04-22 10:24 PM

Nevermind...I figured it out; clock is an hour behind. But Art, didn't you guys go play pool tonight? You're home awefully early.

Speaking of the clock... I checked the server, and the time is right in Linux (in fact is updates itself from an internet time server). The message board just jacks it up trying to convert from UTC to local time. I'm gonna go play with the board settings, but is that doesn't work, there's nothing we can do but deal with it.

The UTC offset probably isn't set for DLS!

Check that.

It's got nothing to do with the local time on your computer, but it does have to do with your profile settings on SECCS. Check out the "official" thread on the topic:

Yes, great meet, but the security guard in the parking lot issue needs to be addressed.

ArthurS 2004-04-23 10:17 AM

Thanks! Apparently its too easy to speed in tho. I heard today I passed Victoria in a 55 zone doing 70, in the right lane. And I thought I was being careful.
