Prodrive 4 Pin Switch!
So it's look like this is it?
Of course he does not have solid knowledge on the what the pins do but I think we can figure it out? I have successfully installed the level switch on my uk300's. The following explaination is for the connection of the 4 or 6 pin level switch to a 3 wire level system (EURO spec). All you need is the switch. There are three wires on the headlight level motor. Black = Ground White/Red = +12V I spliced into the headlamp wires to get power and ground. The third wire is the level wire. You need to pull this connection to ground through a resistor to get the headlights to adjust up and down. If you have the 4 wire Euro switch all you need to do is connect the RED level wire from the headlights to the switch. The 4 connector switch has: (cant remember exact pinout, for explaination purposes only) 1 - Power 2 - Ground (Power and ground are used to illuminate the switch) 3 - In/Out signal 4 - In/Out signal If you measure the resistance across 3 and 4 while you change the switch position you will notice the resistance change. Hook the RED level wire from the headlight to pin 3 or 4 on the switch. Then connect the other pin to ground. This will pull the level wire (RED) to ground through the resistor. |

sweet! does this mean they're in? :D

Good work Tyson! That looks like enough for us to get it working. We were actually on the right track Saturday... a few hours of screwing with it, I think we'd have figured it out.... but it's much better to have a schematic instead of just winging it.

ok, so then I take it they're not in :( but you know how to put them in :D and that's 99% of the job
good luck with the install :D just dont blind me 8) |
