Go over to IHOP in I-Club and let those guys know you are coming. Chances are you can find your way to a meet. They love when fellow Subaru types come over from the mainland.

But not in that pefect weather with perfect scenery and great food :D

... And the native scenery ...

Art, have you ever been to the Big Island?

If you like snorkeling, there's a little park just south of downtown Kona, where there are giant sea turtles swimming around right next to the beach. The snorkeling there is awesome, and safe. If you take an underwater disposable camera you're likely to come home with some amazing pictures.

I've heard the helicopter rides over the lava flows are pretty amazing too, but I didn't get a chance to do that on my trip there.

Lucky lucky you!

At one point we will be visiting the other islands. I'll give you a call if we do.

Snorkeling is going to happen. Same with Scuba. I just need to find me some nice cliffs to jump from

If you do get to Oahu and if you like sushi, check out the Shogun restaurant at the Pacific Beach Hotel (at Waikiki). They have the best all-you-can-eat sushi!

ArthurS 2004-07-09 01:49 PM

I might have to do that. I love sushi.

Evo Mike 2004-07-10 07:10 PM

haha yes, shogun does have a great sushi bar :D .. i'd say about 20x better than the sushi pier in reno.
