AutoCross tires?
 

Hey guys, I am actively pursuing hooking up a great price on sets of Falken Azenis, which are ideal autocross tires. I was just womdering if anyone is interested in picking some up? The number of us interested will affect the price. Let me know 8)

damn too bad all the tires i currently have, have lots of tread life left, BUT if they were only like 75 bucks a piece for 17/45series i still might buy some with everyone b/c then i could just keep them for later use.

I might be interested, if I can scare up a set of stock rims cheap.

I'll sell you mine. One has some curb rash, but it's nothing serious. They have nearly bald RE92s, which are worthless pretty much. Oh and they are painted gold, but you could paint them silver again if you want. Make me an offer that's reasonable and their yours. And you won't have to pay any shipping!

Let me know if you want the wheels when you get back. Gold on silver looks really good to me, but some people think it's ugly. And I think I've got enough lights for now. I don't keep the light bar all the time, though. I only put it on to show everyone at the meet. And when I go play in the dirt at night!

Well, after getting totally PWN3D by those mustangs in NSM today, I think I'm going to take off the MBC and ALK and run STX. Which means I need some good street autoX tires... and Azenis seem to be pretty decent... so if the price is good, count me in on this GB!

I really want 235/45R17's but I guess they don't make 'em in that size, so it's 225/45R17's I guess...

How much you think these'll be?

Are you sure you want Azenis for daily driving? You prolly wont get more than 7k to 10k miles out of 'em... They really are races tires more than street tires.

Well I don't know(I thought it would be an alright summer tire). Maybe the ST 115 are what I should get. Or maybe the 901'S like I have but in the bigger sidewall, I really like the nice curb graud and overall design of them. Or I could drop a load of cash and get run-flats{Goodyear Eagle GS-D EMT RunFlat Size:225/45-17} over 200 a tire he he. If we can only get good deals buying all of one tire that sucks buy hey maybe if we tell them were gonna buy lots thats good enough. I mean the wharehouse is right by us!

And the new Kumho MX's seems to be liked, especially for the price. Plus I looked at the tirerack test results and the Kumho were owning(well at least beating them) the other tires in braking distance, lap times.

Actually, I 've decided that Khail's deal is the ultimate, so I was going to contact him this week, and get some 225x45 R17 Azenis ordered. Khail? I believe he said quantity doesn't matter.

I believe Khail told me he could get Falken Azenis in any size, quanity, etc, email him.

E-mail or PM me guys, I can get you quotes on anything from Tire Rack or Discount Tire. Wheels and tires and whatever else they sell. No group buys necessary, I just have to call the places to see what they have in stock in the local warehouses.
