Another RS someone should pick up...

http://www.feb81.com/subarustuff/rs/

It's priced at less than $10k.

the car does not run at this time, and needs rewiring.
No friggin' wonder, the car has a GT30/40 on it. When you get the Haltech figured out, it'll spool at about 5000 rpm and make stupid-fast power. Good deal if the body's clean though, the rest of the mods are well chosen.

"stock WRX clutch and transmission"

hahahahahaha

That would be like union pacific refurbishing its locomotives by putting wooden wagon wheels on them

That thing's a short-block and 6-speed away from being a true beast!

Libila 2004-11-10 02:41 AM

Man, that car is sweet.

I just glanced at it... I assumed it had a built EJ25, but that doesn't make the deck any less open.

I would imagine.

It looks a whole lot like an EJ22T with sleeves, bored and stroked. But, the other method is indeed to weld in the extra bracing and re-machine the deck. Personally, I wouldn't rust that, plus it's the more difficult/expensive way.

Either way, $5k for a freaking shortblock is retarded.
