A new last name
 

So my roommate and I were talking about last names yesterday, and it occured to me that mine would be changing. I could stick with the maiden name "Falt" or I could be crazy and pick a new last name. The thought of choosing your own last name is pretty darn funny, so I started to look for good ones. I looked at dutch last names and I found a funny one... "Hoogaboom" (origin: Dutch.) High-tree, from Hoog, high, and boom, tree, either local or expressive of stature.
That one just sounds funny. Or maybe the ironic "Vanderwerken"
(origin: Dutch.) From the workers; werken, plural of werk; werker, a worker.

maybe you guys can come up with some good ones.
My real first name is Desirea, so you can pair that up with some choice last names.
This should be a good way to kill some time.

You could always drop your last name altogether and just be "Desirea" you know, like Cher and Madonna. That would be sweet! :lol:

Or, you could go with a native-american last name:
