What? No OT since Friday?
What have you guys been doing all weekend, playing in the snow or something? :D
Making travel arrangements with Orbitz is da bomb. I had a scare in Chicago flying to WI on Thursday, my flight was delayed so I called the car rental agency 800 number. (I originally made my car rental res. separate from plane tickets, so I knew they would not automatically know of flight delays.) The 800 car rental number people told me I needed to call the office in WI because their computer diary notes showed the rental agency counter was closing early that day. Earlier than I was going to arrive. I found an internet kiosk at O'Hare, signed on to Orbitz, added a car reservation to my trip, and everything was taken care of when I arrived in town, even though it was late. omg, travel coming home yesterday was not pleasant. You know how they say O'Hare is the busiest airport? Well, 'they' are right! At least I did get home even though it was 2:30am. I heard Reno airport was shut down on Saturday. I'm thankful that didn't get me. |
I spent lots of time with family. My cousin is going off to be in the army for 8 years, so I spent the day with him and my folks.
Other then that, I was playing in the snow. |
I picked up my roomate at the airport last night, he too flew out of O hare, except he opted for a flight that went thru Dallas...He got home at 9:30. But must have left a lot earlier than you...I heard Ohare was a cluster...

Oh.,...Debbie, everything we discussed this wekeend was "On Topic"...so no need for off topic

I flew in from warm & sunny Orange County Saturday afternoon without a problem. I went from my brother's living room to the gate at John Wayne in less than a half hour. I didn't hear about the Airport problems in Reno until after I got home.
The only delay I experienced was scraping 8" of snow off my truck and having to lock in the hubs to get out of my parking spot. |
