I've got one of those. In my WRX.

Yeah, but this one has 15k miles and probably isn't beat down like yours. :P

Que!? My tranny's in really good condition, esp. considering the power my car makes and all the track miles on it! Hell, I can shift into 1st while autocrossing... how many WRXs can you say that about?

...now my clutch on the other hand... it's probably not in the best condition since I slip it so much. But that's what keeps my tranny from blowing apart.

There are two kinds of Subaru 5MTs... ones that work great, and ones that are broken. You never know when it's going to chenge sides. ;) That being said, there's really no reason to not use your own, unless you do break it before you put the 6MT in.

Yeah, Scott your tranny still feels really good. Considering it has been autocrossed for two full seasons, driven by Yourself, Austin and Me, as well as the track use and all the street racing..It's in great condition...

Tyson still has the best feeling WRX tranny IMO...But yours is really holding up quite well.

"I'd like to thank EasyStreet Motorsports for getin' me going and StopTech for gettin' me un-going. The old blue WRX held up real good today at the South Meadows 250 Ice Racing Challenge Sponsored by Propane. RedLine did a great job keeping my tranny together, that Shockproof Gear Oil is like liquid magic!"
