Saw this in nasioc Motorsports forum... the guy who posted it tried to blame the "vagueness of the MR" comapred to an STi. Go Subaru club, go.

Wow, just wow...wth are they doing autocrossing with snow on the ground...I wonder how screwed up the MR is after eating that curb.

 How sad.. not everyone knows how to drive an evo.. i guess and to think that they can drive on a sport tire is beyond me ... :P

minor damage. The front bumper which I wasgoing to replace anyway because a friend of mine scratch it from before. The left side intercooler piping needs to be replaced because it is bent by the curb. the right front passenger SSR has a slight dent which I can get fix no biggie. I drove the car back to Jersey and was leaking boost due to the intercooler piping. Oh and I need to replace and paint the right fender with a new one. There was no suspension damage.

Autocrossing in the snow is actually quite fun with the proper tire. Again since I am very competitive and does not take no for an answer, I decided to run on my Rs anyway especially when the snow on the course was really starting to melt. I lost grip at the end of the finish line straight away on second gear at redline. That should tell you how fast I was going.

My insurance was not involved in this since Ican pay for the damages myself so it is not going on my driving record.
