Some new obstacles for autox
|
Saw this in nasioc Motorsports forum... the guy who posted it tried to blame the "vagueness of the MR" comapred to an STi. Go Subaru club, go. |
Wow, just wow...wth are they doing autocrossing with snow on the ground...I wonder how screwed up the MR is after eating that curb.

This is just bad, but -- it looks like there's some people with sh#%-eatin' grins in those pictures. aahhg. :D

The front bumper which I wasgoing to replace anyway because a friend of mine scratch it from before. The left side intercooler piping needs to be replaced because it is bent by the curb. the right front passenger SSR has a slight dent which I can get fix no biggie. I drove the car back to Jersey and was leaking boost due to the intercooler piping. Oh and I need to replace and paint the right fender with a new one. There was no suspension damage. Autocrossing in the snow is actually quite fun with the proper tire. Again since I am very competitive and does not take no for an answer, I decided to run on my Rs anyway especially when the snow on the course was really starting to melt. I lost grip at the end of the finish line straight away on second gear at redline. That should tell you how fast I was going. My insurance was not involved in this since Ican pay for the damages myself so it is not going on my driving record. __________________ There ya go .. all in a days work .. lol  |
