Upcoming Reno SCCA Event questions.

just a couple of things I noticed when registering for the upcoming events, on myautoabortion.com

1. For the Club Solo events at Lovelock this season, we need to sign up for Club racing classes, not our traditional Solo classes....

I have not idea what class I am in. Where should we look to sign up properly. Since most of us are in SM, I'm sure it will be easy to find the appropriate Club class...

I signed up in "spec WRX" for now :D until I know what's up...

2. I signed up for the divisional, but when I went to select my class, TSM is not listed with the street tire classes, or anywhere at all. Whoever submitted the event to myautoevents must have missed checking that one off...Dean, Debbie, Scott, can you guys contact someone to get that fixed?
I signed up in SM for now, but I want to run street tire.

thanks
:?:

Matt,

For the Lovelock time trials, I think we need to use what is in section 9 in the supplemental regs for time trials:
http://www.renoscca.com/Events/2005/...alsSuppsV2.htm

When you signed up for the divisional, did you put a comment to registrar about the missing TSM? Because if you did, Terri will see it, and hopefully add it in.

Wow, how come I never saw that before!?

Well, I'm not Showroom Stock, and I'm not on Race Slicks, so I guess I'm a Time Trials Production Classed car.

So that's 2.0L * 3.0 due to my modified boost, which is TT-2.

Matt, you're 2.5L * 3.0 which is also TT-2.

Looks like we're gonna need some more magnets.... Pat!!

I'm signed up in TT2 now, looks liek Larry Capen is also in that class...

Do STis have to apply the variable valve timing multiplier as well?

Sure, why not... it's still a TT-2 car as long as you're not touching the boost...

But if you're up on boost, and the VVT multiplier counts, then

2.5L * 3.0 for boost * 1.5 for VVT = 11.25L equivalent. Yeah right.

MikeK 2005-06-03 03:15 PM

If I don't apply the VVT multiplier I am in TT-3

sperry 2005-06-03 03:28 PM

And if we do apply the VVT multiplier, Matt's in TT-1. We're all in different classes!

MattR 2005-06-03 04:40 PM

I'm in TT-1...hahahah...I'm gonna get smoked by a ferrari or something. :)

Actually, if nobody has a supercharged 4.6L Mustang motor, you might be alone in that class. :p
