Boreal site for autocross ....
 

may not happen this year. A few scca members checked out the parking lot surface and have reported it has big cracks and holes in it. Unless it's repaved, it won't be usable for autocross. Too bad, too, because that is a fun event with beautiful scenery and fresh mountain air.

SCCA members are looking for alternate sites for Aug 30/31.

Any of you have a contact at Boreal, to rattle their chains & get them to repave their lot before August?

That sucks if it's cancelled.... The altitude would give an advantage to the forced induction cars 8).

I'll give my friend a call, he's a ski instructor there... or was till he torn his ACL *off* a few weeks back... now he's a CDF firefighter getting paid half wages to sit around at home. :lol:

Auto-graft... they take tendon from elsewhere in his knee and graft it in place of the torn ACL.

Then shortly after the operation, make sure to go to Vegas for the weekend.... this guy was *dancing* on his knee right after the surgery... what a retard. 4 Vicoden's and 5 beers will make you do stupid things.
