i just got back from the Infineon Raceway in Sonoma, CA.
This was my first trip to any racetrack and needless to say, IT WAS AWESOME.
Seeing a car go from 0 to 230+ miles an hour in 5.032 seconds was cool. I have a few pictures I took with my phone, I have to get a bluetooth module for my computer before I can postthem though.

Man, that sucks that you went all the way to Infineon, one of the best road courses in the west, and had to watch drag racing, yuck.,.. Oh well, as long as you enjoyed it.

It beats the hell out of working.

Everyone should go to an NHRA Top Fuel/Funny Car event at least once.. the sound levels are incredible. I believe it's the single loudest thing I've ever heard in my life. If you're sitting down near the tree you can actually feel the blast wave hit you as they launch.. nucking futs.

Amen! NHRA = good times. (Bring lots of ear protection.)
