We're goin' back this week!

Unfortunately, there's no Rally on Speed that day, so hopefully someone can show up with some recent rally footage on tape. Or maybe some footage from the last autocross!

I can take the footage off my camera onto VCR tape. There is a good 1-2 hours of footage thanks to Evan and Colin on Sunday. I will get on that tonight.

Will they let us play VHS, or DVD on a couple screens with sound? I have the latest WRX on my ReplayTV, and can cut it to VHS easily, and VCD if I have time. Sorry, haven't invested in the DVD writer yet, or that would be super easy.

Art and Shawn know the owner over there, and seem to think they can get VHS tapes played on the big-screen... at least that was the plan! :twisted:

Well shawn knows him much more then myself, but I don;t see it being a problem since we were pretty much the only ones there. I just wonder if they have a VCR o DVD player? Shawn, do you know?

I will swing by on Wendesday if Shawn doesn't and get the OK for sure.

I have 3 hours of WRC. 2 of Greece, and 1 of Argentina I think. I will burn them to VHS.

Maybe I'll go buy the DVD+R writer on sale at Best Buy... $220 for a 4X.... Hmmm.

What's so funny? You like my use of digital terms for analog media or something?

Would you prefer dump them to VHS maybe considering it is a huge quality reduction.

Maybe pour would be better since it is going to be a slow real time process.

I just had a great image of VHS tapes getting violated by a big laser, and a confused Dean scratching his head, "why the hell isn't this working?"... :lol:

Okay.....I got all the Auto-X footage on VHS for the Meet. It is a good Hour and a half long. :D
