WTB: STi up-pipe
 

Got a good condition STi up-pipe you'd like to sell? Let me know, I'd like to buy it. I'll be in Reno tomorrow, leaving Friday to come back home so if anyone is interested we could meet up ;)

No uppipe here... but I need a ride to Sac this week to pick up my WRX. What time you heading back on Friday? :devil:

Crap.. I can't really take the afternoon off... I was hoping you'd be in Reno till 5 or so. If you can stretch out your trip till the afternoon then I'll be able to hitch a ride, but if you can't I'll just pester Nick or Tracy or someone to give me a ride Friday night, or this weekend.

The heat shield on my STI up-pipe is rattling too, due to cracked spot welds.

I'll sell it cheap as soon as I replace it (within a month or so). The heat shield could be removed and the pipe wrapped.

yeah, same dam thing with mine

if you drop your downpipe and spin the shield smack it with a hammer, it pressure fits back onto the lower section.

well see how long that lasts

I'd be interested in grabbing a dmaged STi pipe from either of you guys for after I do my swap. I can seam-weld the heat shields if that's what it takes ;)

I replaced my stock STI uppipe last weekend. The heat shield welds are broken at both ends, and the shield is completely loose. I'm not sure is can be fixed. I would remove the shield and wrap it with Thermotec. If you want it, it's yours in exchange for buying my dinner at the next Thursday meet. ;)

I'll paypal someone to have them buy you dinner, I work until 7 in Sacramento :D

I will be headed down to Sactown this Thursday if I can be of any help in transporting said items :)

MikeSTI, if you wanna bring it to him, let's make arrangements. Are you going to Sac. before or after the meet? I'm prolly one or two miles out of your way on the way to Sac. near the Thursday Bully's on Robb. I can leave it on my porch and you can pick it up, or whatever. Lemme know.

I plan to head down to Sac Thursday morning, my car will be going to S^2 for the TiC/Kart Boy short shifter stuff and can grab it on the way. If you really don't need it anytime sooner then that the other option is always avaible :)
