Looks fun Dean. I would love to make this one.

Kevin M 2005-12-30 08:40 PM

I would very much love to go, but I think I'll still be scraping for coilovers and wheels by then. :(

Dean 2006-01-05 04:36 PM

So, anybody sign up?

(If anyone get's that butchered reference, then I'll give you an e-cookie.)

I friggin rule. I think I'm going to skip out on the Seca Day. I just haven't budgetted for it, so no go again.

cody 2006-01-05 08:21 PM

Stupid debt.

Dean 2006-02-13 01:55 PM

Well, you folks missed two of the most beautiful days at LS I've ever seen. NO FOG, mid 60s to low 70s I think, a little cooler in the AM, but not much. I got a bunch of video and pics of my custom LS exhaust mod.

The stupid Megan racing flanges didn't line up with my BPM flanges by about 15 degrees, so I went Home Depot on it...

Dean 2006-02-21 05:48 PM

Video.... Get your video here... Sorry, no video of my first lap drift and tank slapper at 5...

Enjoy.

Oh, and you didn't used to be able to drive over all the Apex rumble strips like this. They were 3+inches high "gator backs" from at least 6-9, and I don't think we had the same amount of turn in rumble strips either. Much faster in this configuration..

cody 2006-02-21 06:27 PM

Nifty. I likeed the conversation between you and your co-driver that basically went:

CD: So I suppose there's a reason for the long sleeved shirts?
Dean: Oh yah, Definately.
[uncomfortable silence]
CD: Is it a good one?
Dean: Yep!
[more silence]

...or somthing like that.

Dean 2006-02-22 07:36 AM

I will discuss the car, or th track while I'm driving if I'm not to heavily taxed driving,or watching other cars, but discussing wardrobe is right out... Sorry.

Granted it is no nomex, but natural fibers such as cotten over your skin in the unlikely event of a fire, may be the difference between lethal, and non-lethal burns.

If you don't want to wear them in the paddock, don't.

If you can't live with your arms and legs covered on the track, go home, it's the rule. Or in simpler terms.

Shut up and drive! (Or in this case, ride.)

sperry 2006-02-22 10:54 AM

 Dean's brining new meaning to the term "flamesuit on!"

cody 2006-02-22 04:31 PM
