Impreziv.......noticable?
So "Black Cory"......have you had a chance to get the pulleys and/or mounts on yet? What do you think?
|
Not yet dude! It'll likely be on Saturday. I'm all anxious though! I'll let you know how the install goes, and what I think afterward for sure!
|
I wanna know too. :)

^^^I saw your car sitting there, but I guess you didn't come in and eat with us. I was looking to meet you and put a face with the moniker!
|
Any luck? Results?
|
Naw dude. My sat. got screwed last week, so I'm planning on this weekend.
Did you get that check yet bro? I mailed it. If you don't get it by early next week, lemme know and I'll stop payment and send another! |
Haven't received it yet ,but I'll keep an eye out for it. I'll let you know.

Got the check today Cory, did you get the stuff installed?
|
Thank you very much for that check.
|
Thank you for the hookup dude! I know you can prob use the money! Moving out of state and getting a new job isn't cheap! I know!
Finally got everything installed. With the pulley size difference, I really see the most improvements in the elec. system with the alt spinning faster and all! Power gains I'd say are minimal by the ass dyno, but it's not a matter of each part, but the combo of all your mods that make the difference! Ha! Thanks again for keeping me in mind Nick! I really appreciate it dude! |
Glad I could help. Could you see the difference with the crank pulley with the lightened rotational mass. I thought that it was obvious to me but, you know that was my professional opinion. ha ha. Have fun with it man!
|
I dunno. After driving it for a few days, it feels like it may have picked up a step or two. May just be in my head, 'cause I'm looking for it to be faster! Ha!
I'm still very pleased tho! Thx again Bro! |
maybe Quicker, but not faster.
|
"quick" not equal to "fast"
Ha ha! Now your new car on the other hand... BOTH! |
TRUE my friend. I'm taking it to an abondoned parking lot right now to play in the snow we got last night!! Time to have some fun!

Yes pictures please!

By time I got out to the parking lot, all the snow had melted!! son-of-a-bitch! just stupid, the ground was still wet, so I rolled my diff., all the way back, and did two donuts, and went home. Such a disappointment! Sorry fellas, no pics, but snow on the way in the forcast. Stay tuned!
|
Hell dude! I think we got the snow you were talking about! I woke up to damn near 3 inches in my back yard this morning! (south reno)
|
We got snow yesterday here Atlanta. Less than 1/1000000000 of an inch so suck it bitches.

Well, now that I've spent some time driving, and have had a chance to make some comparisons, I can say that I think the car HAS picked up a step or so. I raced my buddy with the Integra, who used to easily pull me through second and third gear, and we were neck and neck! I can say that it really does seem quicker!
The dim ass lights and shit at idle amuse me! I can hear a speed difference in the heater fan when I rev the motor from idle! Everything does still seem more efficient when I'm at a cruise tho. The lights in the dash don't dim when the bass from the sub hits anymore. Hmmm... I dunno, maybe it's just in my head! |
Good to hear that you're amused! I bet they look pretty under your hood too...... So Cory, whats next? You've gotta woop his ass with your next mod! What'll it be!
So I've scheduled my car to get the window tinted on monday. I'm going with an 18% charcoal "ST" which means it will have a more reflective look that your typical tint. You know me and my reflective tint. Scott, don't worry, it's not the Chrome tint that my old RS had. Oh yeah, how did the mounts fit? |
everything went together really well. Not even a hiccup! And now that the rsb is in mounts and bushings made for it, instead of 350Z bushings, it doesn't squeak nearly as much either!
