Quick question - Tires, where to..?
 

What shops around here allow you to come in with your own tires and wheels to get 'em mounted and balanced?

HEY! Baish (=D), I come from a place where people are stingy like that. I can't help but ask.

I have taken loose wheels and tires to both Big-O on McCarran and Mae Anne and Sid's on 4th street.

I told Lonnie about just getting the tires from Tire Rack out here.

The first thing he said was "You'll have to find a place that'll mount them.. they usually won't do that for you if you bring your own stuff in.."

So, seriously, it was like that back east. Because he had the same reaction I did.

We'll see what happens. Thanks for the suggestions.

I know this black dude that works at a Nissan dealer who'll mount them up for you for practically nothing!

Doesn't Tire Rack have a listing of local shops that will mount including aproximate pricing? They used to.

Which reminds me... the funniest thing ever was the reaction of one of my black childhood friends the 1st time he ever got a sunburn (I think we were in Jr High, or so). "OMG, HOW DO YOU WHITE PEOPLE DEAL WITH THIS!??! THIS IS THE WORST FEELING EVER!!!" :lol:

A1337STI, you could drop some off with me, but I have to do it in my spare time, so I usually have people leave them with me for the day. If you can do this, no problem! Lemme know!

I sun burn in fricking january :( (on the ski slopes) sounds great I think ... I still have to pick up the rims that need demounting (this week hopefully) 3 BBS's with 4 RE070's (50% tread +) for $500 ... i think i just have to :) hopefully i can get them all the same color and with tires all before April 1st.

What the crap? Somewhat entertaining hijack, though. =P

We'll see what happens.
