Ignore that stupid FS wheel thread. My whole attempt to save bandwidth backfired.Link to ad/photos:

Info correct in cars.com ad. Some was incorrect in post here (i.e miles). She wants you to buy her and love her..... ;)

And a bump for updating.

Not to be rude, or impolite, but that seams real high for that car, and it is the undesireable automatic, and 19" wheels are a big minus.

One of the guys who came out to autocross today just picked up an 01 stick for $16K...

Not to be rude, but check kelly blue book. Also, It does have 19's, which you may not like, but they are new and expensive, and the tires are new. The car includes the original 17's with plenty of Dunlop left on them as the ad clearly states. Sorry, but don't buy it. There is also a modded 6MT one on nasioc with many more miles for less also. Mine has low miles, good history, and excellent condition. I dont need to find an enthusiast home for this car. I actually hate the 19's...it came with them. I just want to sell it so my GF can have a 2006 OBS.

KBB and NADA both show $19.6~k as the private party value for your car.

.....which is right about where I'll likely land beginning at 23k and applying haggle factor.

...which isn't the impression you gave of your expectations when you responded to Dean.

If you're not interested in the car, then not a lick of this matters. As far as any implications of my expectations, I dont recall issuing those forth. The sale price is listed in the ad, which now reflects a checked "obo" box that I neglected to click before, but I trust that no one, myself included, would buy a car from a private party without some haggling whether "or best offer" was spelled out or not.....its another sure thing just like death and taxes.

Nick Koan 2006-04-06 02:51 PM

But, if you price yourself too high, people might just pass on it thinking you want to much, and they won't even try to haggle.

Just a friendly hint I've learned from selling things. If I were you, I'd list the expected price, and not budge. If someone wants to haggle, thats their game.

JonnydaJibba 2006-04-06 02:53 PM

It is a nice car, and 19s are the illest.

Such a tough call, since the market for these here in Reno is as sour as the lemon in Bea Arthur's twat.....
I've got it spread around on some bay area forums and on i-club. The respone from dealers towards trade-in is a joke.
I'm not expecting a huge response to this car, especially in a quick timeframe. The market is small and so is the enthusiast population. We'll just squat on it until an interested party comes along. Because, thank you JonnydaJibba, it is a very nice ride....and pimp it we will till a buyer cometh.

bumping for spring price (see ad, link @ OP) and the fact that all the girls are now wearing less clothing...........
