optima red top
Thinking about selling it for a smaller battery.. bought it in march.. so it's pretty much brand new.. Looking for offers.. ryan sold his for 50, i'm looking for slightly more.. let me know
Do you know if it's a 35 or a 34 fitment (I believe that's the spec)? The "standard" red-top (which I believe is the 34) requires you to extend your ground connection on Scoobies, IIRC, because of the terminal location.
Someone should jump on this, though; even with extending the the ground, that's a good deal. |
yes mine is the same as all the others. you have to extend the ground wire.. Anyway.. I think i'm going to sell it to dean for 70$
do you happen to know the CCA? (Cold Cranking amps)
Sold to dean. I just bought a battery with only 220 cca.. works fine.. ryan also has this battery and used it in his subie durring the winter. starts the car fine and runs well.
so no clue then? i hit their website. 800 CCA at 0F !!! damn. i would have bid it up had i known that. guess its good i didn't :)
I have two red tops for the cars, and a yellow for the truck... All I need is a Blue for the trailer, or a pack of M&Ms...... :)
I should probably go with a smaller sized battery like Cody has, and get a 2nd battery to use with my capacitor when i get my stereo installed. worst case the starter can pull from the 2nd batery and capacitor. :D it would probably weight about the same over all as OEM, and hopefully my head lights won't Dim. I'de almost sell it all but i wouldn't get near what i wanted.

If you need power, Yellow top might be the way to go.
