bye bye Integra
 

Chris with the red Integ. traded it in last night and got a white, '06 Evo rs! He was a bit reluctant to tell me how much he got for the Integ, or how much his monthly is on the Evo, but it's a pretty clean car... i.e. he may have gotten screwed a bit on the deal.

Thing that sucks is, I know his wife isn't happy because he ALSO traded in their Jeep for a down payment too! So they went from a family vehicle, and a race vehicle, to ONE vehicle for family AND racing... :eek:

He's happier than a pig in shit tho, so good for him! I'm gonna have to step up my game at Auto-x now if I plan on continuing to beat him! :lol:

Just thought I'd share! We'll put up pics as soon as there's a chance. It was about 10pm when he came by last night, so there were none...

Great upgrade! But I'm guessing that having an upset wife isn't going to be all that great.

Wow, awesome! Hopefully it survives as a daily driver. I dunno too much about em, I've just heard scary stories. And now I can't pass him uphills at 90 anymore... =(

Aside from the pissed off wife, good for Chris! I know he was always struggling w/ that Integra because it was a street mod car with no real hope of being competative.

Hopefully Chris can fight off the moding bug, and learn to drive that EVO in AS(?) for a while, it'll be really competative right out of the box up here at altitude. Plus, mods will only piss off the wife more. :lol:

Oh yeah, she's pissed! VERY pissed... It's kinda scary. I don't like the idea of sleeping next to a LIVID Italian woman...

Hopefully Chris will live long enough to be able to take it to Auto-x!

Well Chris's wife is going to co-drive, so she'll be happy after her first run. In regards to her being angry, its not like its Rocky season or anything.

Do you guys think its wise to take it out to the track this weekend? What is the break in period for a car like that?

I think the real question is how long will Cory wait until getting a STI?

Break-in is probably 1000-1500 miles. Anyone think he can make that before the weekend? Or that he'll have any gas money left? :lol:

And I propose that the real question is how long Cory will wait until finally starting his swap. I don't think he'll ever give up the GM.

Chris' wife isn't really THAT pissed off, really she's just worried about only having one vehicle for the two of them now. She has told him that this is HER car, not his, so any modifications planned will be HERS to do!

Chris doesn't know if he's gonna run it this weekend. He's a little afraid of hurting it, to say the least. MY philosophy is to break it in the same way you plan on driving it, but that's just me...
