They would be good wheels, but you'd have to do minor fender modding to clear tires worth having 17x8s for. 235/40 would be good, and you could probably get away with pulling the black rubber edge off the inside lip and bending it upwards a bit. But why don't you want the tires? They rule.

But then again 235s would be so hot. |
20% left = exactly enough to get you to winter. Just be ready to buy winters (or swap wheels) by the end of september and it would be worth it. And rolling the fenders isn't hard, not for as little as you should need to do. Just go test fit them and see how much there is. You could have it all squared away in like 45 minutes, max.

I've seen the dents. If I get the deck lid, I am gonna take the wing off, fill the holes, and get the whole thing repainted. That way I will have a wingless STi.

You F'er, you charged me $20 for the sidemarkers! :P
I don't need the Perrin endlinks because I already have solid endlinks. |
Cusco Sway and Whiteline mounts are installed as of 10 minutes ago. The right side was a byotch but I finally got it. Apparently the weakest setting is almost as weak as my 20mm "sedan" sway according to the test drive I just took in an abandoned parking lot...still understeers a tad. Two more settings to try. :D
Pete, you're a scholar and a gentleman, thanks for all your help last night. I'm glad we called it a night when we did though. It's way better to come at things fresh when I get frustrated...stupid canister thingy. Um, Bump! |
Ha, that black box in the right rear corner is a bitch. It sucks that the sway bar mounts have anything to do with the mounting of the peace of shit box. What the hell is that thing anyway?
|
It's the charcoal canister. Its purpose is to allow the gas tank to vent (when the temperature changes) without spewing raw gas fumes into the atmosphere.
