WEBSITE: California List of illegal mods

As shown on NASIOC:

This website allows you to read what is illegal for California when it comes to car modifications. Now, need to find a similar list for Nevada.

http://www.chp.ca.gov/html/streetlegal.html

The worst one:

Quote:

New law (27150.2 VC) does not require law enforcement to use sound level meters to test for excessive noise.

Citation is based on officer's judgment.

Alteezas *are* red tail lights... that's the color they light up, regardless of the color of the lense over 'em.

Actually APC was sued for 650,000$ for there tail-lights. Maybe the new ones are fine then?

Quote:

the NHTSB fined APC for $650000 for not having the reflective part of their taillight assemblies.

this is in the current issue of MOBILE ELECTRONICS, a trade related publication.

Illegal color of side marker lights. If present, must be yellow in the front and red in the rear (25106, 24003 VC).
Evan, Ben, Tyson, etc........

Wonder how much that ticket is?

I think every person on the board is breaking at least one of these rules. :x

 OWNED.

Here's my question... if they didn't have reflectors, how could they sell them in the US *at all* w/o a "for off road use only" disclaimer? And if they did have the FORUO disclaimer, then what law did they break to get fined?

Remember those rules are for LIGHT color, not lense color... smoked lenses still have orange lights behind them.

Guess they're not present. The point I think is to keep people from haveing red in the front and orange in the back which would make the car look like it was going backwards. Or blue... since only emergency vehicles are allowed to have blue lights... that's how they nail all those waher LEDs guys.
