Holy crap, they*do* exist!!
God love RX-8 owners... it's thanks to the RX-8 that Enkei now makes a 17x9 +45 5x114.3 15lb RPF1!! That's exactly the fitment I need for my WRX once I get my '05 hub swap completed.
I'm stoked I can keep running the RPF1's after the hub swap in the wider size, as I haven't found an affordable wheel that's as light as these bad boys. http://www.good-win-racing.com/mazda/miata/60-1290.html http://www.good-win-racing.com/miata...ing%20RPF1.jpg If this wasn't the last set on their shelf, I think I would have ordered two sets. |
awesome.

Good find.

Brake fitment?
Also, Brian's good people, I spoke with him extensively after I got the Miata about a number of things. Hard to beat his combination of price and service. |

good-win is who Mark got his wheels from too.
Dang, wrong size for me (for B stock)... |
Well, those wheels are too good to be true.
Even though they're the same diameter and offset as my 17x8 +45's, it looks like they're designed to be used as rear wheels only on cars that run 17x9 rear/17x8 fronts, because they won't clear my front brakes. Not only won't they clear my front brakes, I can't see how they'd clear OEM front brakes on pretty much any car.... the spokes are nearly completely flat to hub face! So, it looks like I'm back to searching for light/affordable 17x9+45 5x114.3 wheels. I wish those FNO1RC 5zigens weren't sold out everywhere. |
These look nice (and expensive): http://www.nyxracing.com/advan-rgii-...3-p-10432.html
