New user titles!

I noticed that I'm up over 10,000 posts these days, and several members are into the 6000's, so I figured it was time to change the user titles to have some categories over 4000 posts.

Of course, if you've got a custom title, you won't see one of these titles next to your name... but for the rest of you, here's what they mean!

The new titles are based on the EJ line-up of Subaru engines:

25+ posts: EJ18 - the 1.8L N/A motor from the older Impreza L
100+ posts: EJ22 - the 2.2L N/A motor from older Legacy's
500+ posts: EJ251 - the 2.5L N/A motor from the 2.5RS Impreza, and others
1000+ posts: EJ205 - the USDM 2.0L WRX motor
2500+ posts: EJ207 - the JDM 2.0L WRX motor
5000+ posts: EJ20G - the JDM 2.0L STI motor
7500+ posts: EJ22T - the 2.2L Turbo Legacy motor (not fast out of the box, but one of Subaru's all time most capable motors)
10000+ posts: EJ257 - the newer 2.5L USDM STI motor
15000+ posts: EJ22G - the 2.2L 22b motor

And no offense to the EZ/EG fellas... but I didn't know how to fit those flat 6 motors into the scale, so it's only EJ series motors this time around!

Also, if anyone has some good ideas for new titles, post 'em up in here and I'll switch to them once we get tired of these.

Woe, I was worried... dropping from "Master of his Python" to a EJ207 would have crushed my fragile ego...

I think breakfast foods / cereals would be next.

Grape Nuts, Corn Flakes, Cheerios, Cinnamon Toast Crunch, Crunch Berries, Pop tarts, Eggs and bacon, Dennys Grand Slam, Sunday Brunch Buffet, etc...

MPREZIV 2006-08-03 11:50 AM

I must say, I'm pretty pleased with "token" !

Seeing as I don't post that much really, I'd *never* make it to a decent engine rating!

Just post more. Soon you'll gain the coveted 22b title, and all will be right in the world again.

You could use the picture of Cody in a cloud of dust. :)

You're less that 200 posts away from the EJ207 motor, which came in the GC8 WRX. Get on it!

(Also, I realize in my summary above, there is some "wrong" info about which motors were in which cars. For example, the EJ205 came in JDM WRXs and the EJ207 came in some STIs... also the EJ20G is older than both those motors, but was the original STI motor IIRC, so I put it higher on the list, even though the EJ207 out performs it. Also, I left out the EJ20K which was the update to the EJ20G... and so on and on and on...)

Aw, close but no cigar. That's okay, you still don't hold the record for largest dust cloud raised by a wagon I've ever seen at a racetrack. ;) come to think of it, you're still in 3rd place actually.

Joeyy 2006-08-03 01:34 PM

Thanks for the love Dean. We'll have to see how Squaw works out with Nick, Cody and myself at the same weekend.

cody 2006-08-03 01:44 PM

I really doubt my car will be ready, but it'll be close...I'm hoping...

Joeyy 2006-08-03 01:54 PM

No really somebody please kill my avatar. Everything I find never fits and I'm not able to edit anything because of the dense rock between my ears.

cody 2006-08-03 01:58 PM

I like ImageResizer.exe for resizing JPG's. I just glean any small GIF's I see online.

This will work... And yes, that is a wagon, not sure it is the right year though.

That's what i used. Find an image you like. Right click and say save image as.. pick a name, and put it somewhere like your desktop so you don't lose it.

Once image resizer is loaded, you can right click the file on your desktop and choose resize image. Once the window pops up, hit advanced, the custom bullet, 80x80, and OK... a copy with (custom) shoudl appear near teh original.

Upload that...
