I mean, come on people. They are basically the same word.
Than compares two things. x is more or less than y. Then compares two things temporally. x happend then y happened. Therefore, you all need to stop busting my balls cause they are basically the same damn word! Then is just a specific application of the word than, and should be able to be used interchangably.
