I remember those shoes

Some of the old air jordans are cool, I always wanted them as a kid but I rarely if ever got to get a pair.

I remember these skate shoes. and just in case you click quickly note the price.

I was hoping
they would have these awesome red canvas nike low-tops I had. They were teh coolest shoes I ever had.

DOOD! Some of those are PIMP! [as we all know, I am a sneaker whore...]

$1400 dollars tho? Damn...

I need a new pair Roos, anyone know where I can get those around here?

Wait, these are original shoes then, not remakes? Like people are buying these as collector's items not to wear? Had I known I could have sold a pair of Jordan's for $2000 today, I would have just packed 'em away in a closet... oh wait, in 1990 I wore $20 shoes, not $100 shoes.

Why doesn't Nike just make a run of old school shoes? I'd totally rock a pair of original Jordan's today... but not if they cost more than about $80.

My friend Steve has like 2 pair of each edition of MJ's in their boxes stored away. I've seen em, it's weird to see them all new and stuff.

Yeah, in 1990 it was a mix of ProWings and the occasional Big5 2-for-1 sale that netted me some blue or red Air Jordans or Air Court Force in faux white and gray snakeskin with turquoise.....you heard right ladies, white and gray snakeskin with turquoise. Please form a single file line, and I'll be with each of you ladies momentarily.

I don't see how these could be original, I grew up in the Bay, full of people and with plenty of 'cutting-edge' fashion available, and I never saw shoes with color schemes like those. There were Air Court Force and Delta Force and Air Jordans in all manner of bad eighties/ninties trim, splatter paint and 'snakeskin', but never saw styles like what's in this catalog. These are too ....tasteful. There wasn't anything like that when these were new. I just wish I still had some Blue Jordans. I never would have skated in them had I known they could sell for a mint.

Yeah. I was a skater in grade school (yeah  ), and Vans were lightweight and relatively cheap - something my parents appreciated as I tended to rip them up on griptape a lot.

Yeah, I don't see the point in buying 80 dollar skateboarding shoes that are going to be torn to bits in a month
