camber bolts...

SO, anybody got a set lying around that they don't need? I think I'm gonna end up like Scott with my rear camber being limited to whatever angle the tires will clear at...

I'll pay for them, but I'd rather pay a member for a set they don't need than Tire rack.

JonnydaJibba 2007-01-09 11:01 AM

I need em too.. I think I'll just buy them new though. I don't know why I haven't yet.

sperry 2007-01-09 11:34 AM

I may have a set of stock front camber bolts... but I don't think those will work in the rear.

SlickNick112 2007-01-09 11:40 AM

Cory, I've got a 2 pair of camber bolts from Whiteline 14mm. If the bolt size is the same for the front as it is the rear, Scott's should work. Let me know if you want to buy new one's. I've got them in stock if you don't find someone local, just don't dis me for tirerack! ;P

MPREZIV 2007-01-09 12:05 PM

The front stock ones won't work in the rear, as far as I know. The front struts have a wallered out hole for them to fit in, 'cause the cam's BIG.

If I buy a new set, I'll DEFINITELY hit you up dude! Just thought I'd check and see if somebody had a set sitting around collecting dust that they didn't need first!

Summit usually has them in stock in town for cheap.

one pair: $8.95

two pair: $16.95

I think that is for one bolt, and one pair.

MPREZIV 2007-01-09 12:50 PM

I KNOW where to find them in the aftermarket! :P The dollar amount isn't the issue, just wanted to see if somebody had some lying around that they wanted to unload, like the ones Jeremiah got off Matt.

No, my numbers are right. I checked the manufacturers web site as well as having bought one of the "single pairs" before.

It is the Summit site that reads weird and makes it sound like it is one bolt.

If nobody comes through for you, I was just trying to say that Summit may be cheaper than TR. They were when I bought a set.

In case anyone cares, I can confirm that these are for one bolt and two bolts, not one pair and two pairs. I just bought the 16.95 set and there are only two bolts in there.

MPREZIV 2007-01-31 01:54 PM

Cool! Good to know!

I can confirm that. I'm looking at an invoice from Summit from when I bought two pairs in October. They're good bolts though. :)

Dean 2007-02-01 11:57 AM

OK, I was wrong. I admit it. Sorry.
