Double-sided tape for moulding.
Anybody know of one that is stronger than the other? I'm putting on my nerdy-cool JDM wind/rainguards on my BG6 and they attach with 2 clips that don't hold much force at all, 2 bolts in the doorjambs, and 1/2" tape, full-length, to fix it to the car and seal against rain and wind. I didn't find much choice at the Kragen, I'm off to the Auto Zone to see if they have anything there, but since we cook in the summer and freeze in the winter, I want a good quality 3M or something similar.

They work great, but I still need to fidgit with them a bit and adjust them....not as bright as I'd hoped, but better than before) http://i113.photobucket.com/albums/n...13596a2380.jpg Thanks. |
You need a roll of the good stuff. I think this is it...

Yeah, the rainguards are pretty cool. I wish the rest of the car was JDM spec.

Veddy nice.
Question, what did you use to get the old tape off of there...besides elbow grease? I don't know what to use that won't mess up the plastic. Also, how effective are they at keeping drippys out of your window controls and off of your sleeve? |
