Sprint DST problems.

Maybe I'm doing something wrond but I can't get my phone to display the correct time.

I went into World Time menu and changed my DST to on +1, but that didn't change anything.

hmmm.

Cingular > Sprint.

tysonK 2007-03-11 09:53 AM

That's super helpful thanks.

I know, I'm sorry. My phone is updated this morning.

My NEXTEL would always take an extra day or two to update the stupid DST time, even before they moved it up a few weeks. Maybe it's a Sprint/ Nextel thing.

tysonK 2007-03-11 10:01 AM

I'm calling them.

Ok I fixed it, I turned it off and took out the battery now I'm good.

All my important alarms will now go off correctly.

Yeah, I was going to say, I just turned my phone on and off this morning, and everything seemed fine.

I didn't even do that... it's just right.

My work laptop on the other hand... since our IT dept in their infinite wisdom decided to turn off automatic updates so we wouldn't download IE7, my laptop is 700+ MB of updates out of date.

I hacked the registry to turn updates back on, and it'll be 90 minutes before I'm done updating. You know how impossible it is to type something when the update installer keeps popping up every 2 seconds? I think I've hit "CTRL + TAB" like 40 times during the typing of this message alone.
